Getting multiple sales notifications from multiple platforms is a dream for many of the creators out there.

I know many creators and writers who have multiple income sources. Some have a target of having 3 income sources, while some wanna go as far as 7.

But this requires time.

I will suggest that you pick only one business. Not more than that.

This is what you can do —

1. Pick ONE business that you love the most!
2. Give at least 3 months.
3. Automate if possible (don’t create content using AI! Automate emails, add workflows, and so on..)
4. Stay for 2 more months to see if everything is working properly or not
5. Then move to the second side hustle. Continue to work on the first one during weekends.

So in short, one business at a time.

1. Tell me what’s your fav. niche? — I am seriously asking you this. Because I am into ebooks and writing. My second business is in the tech niche. I picked these niches because I LOVE them. I really like to explore these niches. I am not a fan of dieting and health, or relationship niches. So I never had any business with them. Pick ONLY ONE and stick to it. Remember, all niches/micro-niches are profitable!
2. Tell me ONE platform you love the most! — You need a platform if you need organic traffic. Or pick one where your audience is most. I have a third business in the music niche. I have an Instagram music store. I specifically picked Instagram because I know I’ll find musicians and music lovers there! Pick only ONE PLATFORM.
3. Create content yourself — No AI here. Platforms don’t like that. Use AI when you run out of ideas. That’s okay. But again, if you know SEO, then you won’t need this as well.
4. Engage. Engage. Engage — The more you engage, the more people will find your pages or profile. Engage with the audience in your niche. Leave genuine comments on their posts or articles.
5. Follow at least 3 BIG CREATORS in your niche — This is necessary because you’ll know what’s working and what’s not working. I’ll soon write an article on this. In just 3 steps, you’ll be able to find the next big hit. No need for any SEO tools. It’s 10 years now. I still follow the old method to do SEO.
6. Join 1 newsletter in your niche — Do this. You’ll run out of ideas soon. Believe me. This is going to help you a lot.
7. Monetization — Most interesting part. I mostly stick to digital products. Even for my YouTube, I have monetized it using digital products and am already making sales. But that’s up to you. Look at how others are making money. What platforms are they using? What are their products? Pricing strategy? Pay close attention and you’ll know EVERYTHING.

Tip — Digital products are the easiest ones.
